Kuta: shopping and entertainment
The once modest fishing village of Kuta has become one of the best resorts on the island of Bali. It all started in the mid-1970s, when surfers chose a long beach with high waves. They were followed by lovers of lazy relaxation and noisy parties. The town began to build hotels, clubs, restaurants and other infrastructure, without which the average tourist from Europe, Australia or America cannot live. Today Kuta is a center of entertainment and trade.
